Over 35,000 crystals were used to cover the basketball, and it took over 100 hours to complete. Vanessa Swarovski produces private label crystal items for other luxury brands and is also targeting the high-end sports market with Frosted Gear so selecting her to produce the charity item was an easy choice.
In addition to providing the Swarovski Crystal jersey basketball, each attendee at the gala took home a one-of-a-kind commemorative Dallas Mavericks crystal bracelet also provided by Vanessa Swarovski.
